Onyx Alliance welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with other organizations of like vision within the Pittsburgh region.
- In May 2001, OA collaborated with CORO Center for Civic Leadership to host a political forum, which allowed voters to meet and challenge the candidate.
- In December 2001, OA partnered with The University of Pittsburgh's Graduate Studies division to host a graduate studies information seminar. The seminar was a success, resulting in (4) academic scholarships to be awarded to Onyx Alliance members – (2) on the Masters level, (2) on the Doctoral level.
- In January 2002, OA partnered with Pittsburgh Regional Alliance, Greater Pittsburgh Convention and Visitors Bureau, BridgeSpotters Corporation, CORO, PUMP, Ground Zero and other regional organizations to sponsor "The New Pittsburgh Party", a social event aimed at promoting Pittsburgh to young people. - On March 18, 2003, OA partnered with PUMP, PAAYPA, CORO,
and other young Pittsburghers for a forum with Mayor Tom Murphy. Mayor Murphy presented information on PGH 21, a proposed tax plan that will have lasting implications on the city's financial future.
